See this reminder flyer? August 10 is an extra arrival day. Things will be planned for early arrivers that evening. Most official activities occur on Friday through Sunday with the understanding that many will be returning home on Sunday while others of us will worship together.
Here's the deal: You do not have to read every detail concerning the meetings of those of us who volunteered to work on making our 50th reunion a blast. I apologize to those of you who felt overwhelmed by the meeting notes. However, I've had to post meeting details because they needed referring to like meeting minutes...and we're working with a bunch of elderly folk who forget what we said last time around. We also needed to hear ideas from you.
From here on out, for the general classmates, I will highlight in yellow like some of the earlier posts so you will know what YOU need to pay attention to. Besides that, we are putting on finishing touches to some wonderful activities in August so some details may need to be kept as a surprise for when you join us at the reunion.
Right now, here's what's needed from everyone:
1. A high school portrait
2. A present-day portrait
3. Photos of different activities from our high school days

I can't tell you everything because some of the activities are a surprise, but suffice it to say that the weekend will be filled with exciting activities! We'll be staying at the fabulous Hampton Inn & Suites in downtown Baton Rouge. We have a block set aside at a special rate. Deadline TBA. You'll be in walking distance of a lot of nice places to go! Of course, our own entertainment is planned.
