Emergency Situation at Thomas's

School mates and classmates, lift up Michael Thomas's family-- also my neighbors.  There was a horrible fire at his mom's. Other relatives stay there -- some, along with his Classmates, a neighbor woke me up to the news that firetrucks were near my mom's at Michael Thomas's mom's , Mrs. Bonnie Thomas, home. Several family members, including Mrs. Thomas, are disabled.  Michael was here visiting after work and attending our fellowship and meeting at a local restaurant.

Fortunately, everyone got out safely. Tanya Freeman and I have been getting info for their needs. I'm on my way to the store for a few items and Val Sims Hills is notifying our other neighbors.

Meanwhile, for those of you in the area who want to help, we got Michael to send this:

Also as a reminder, if you signed up to receive messages by text via the Remind app, be sure to do so by smart phone. The app not only works better through it but I believe it is going to phase out using emails as most clients text these days.

Oh! Just got a text from Val about where to send gift cards, if you prefer that method of giving to the Thomas's.  Michael, if you're reading this, please respond in the comments. Meanwhile, we can accept them at my mother's at 4227 Algoa Ave. Baker, LA 70714.
